Homemade Pizza Sauce
There's nothing like the taste of homemade pizza sauce. With just 5 simple ingredients, you'll never want to go back to the canned version! Watch the video to see how easy it is to make!
Yield: 28 ounces of pizza sauce
  • One can (28 oz.) whole, peeled tomatoes (Mutti Pomodori preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 leaf basil, hand torn
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped

  2. Add all ingredients into large bowl. Hand crush the tomatoes. To avoid spatter, crush tomatoes below the level of puree. Refrigerate at least 4 hours prior to use. Use within 2 days or freeze for later.
