I make butterhorn rolls with dry yeast. My Mother made them with fresh yeast. Do you have a recipe for butterhorn rolls using fresh yeast vs. dry yeast? I do know how to make the conversion from dry to fresh. Her rolls always tasted yeastier than mine does with the dry yeast. I am trying to get the yeastier (is that a word) flavor.

Thank You!

Hi Sandra,

We don’t have one with fresh yeast but here is a helpful chart. Here is also a recipe for butterhorns we have with dry yeast but you are welcome to convert it to 2 oz of cake yeast.

Happy Baking!
