Platinum® Instant Sourdough adds a real sourdough culture – and real sourdough flavor – to any yeast bread.

Platinum® Instant Sourdough is not meant to be used in place of a sourdough starter.

Simply substitute one packet of Platinum® Instant Sourdough for one 1/4 oz. packet of any dry yeast in any recipe. Use in any of your favorite yeast recipes to Sourdough It Up!

Blend Platinum® Instant Sourdough with dry ingredients. Add very warm liquids (120- 130°F). Avoid liquids that are too hot to touch.

One packet of Platinum® Instant Sourdough will raise up to 4 cups (about 1 pound) of flour.

Since the packet contains a blend of yeast and sourdough starter, only full packets of Platinum Instant Sourdough should be used in recipes.

Like any baker's yeast, Platinum® Instant Sourdough is a living organism and must be handled properly to ensure optimum performance. Never expose yeast to high temperatures during storage or use. Store this product at a comfortable room temperature or in the refrigerator or freezer.
