Vintage Fruit Salad Ring

A creamy, cool salad features Vintage Fruit Sauce and sour cream with lemon gelatin in a pretty ribbon mold.
Yield 6 to 8 servings



  • 2 (3oz) packages lemon-flavored gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups Vintage Fruit Sauce, divided
  • 1 cup sour cream


  • In large mixing bowl, add boiling water to gelatin; stir to dissolve. Add cold water.
  • Remove 1 cup of gelatin mixture, place in small bowl. Add 1/2 cup Vintage Fruit Sauce to gelatin, stir to combine. Pour into oiled 6-cup ring mold. Chill until firm.
  • To remaining gelatin, add sour cream; mix thoroughly. Chill until thickened.
  • Add remaining 1 cup Vintage Fruit Sauce to sour cream-gelatin mixture. Pour over firm layer in mold and chill until firm.
