Vintage Fruit Ice

A quick and easy freezer dessert. Handy to do ahead. Completes a meal any time of the year.
Yield 4 to 6 servings



  • 1 cup Vintage Fruit (drained)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 egg whites
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 cup whipped topping


  • Spoon fruit into blender container; blend at medium speed until somewhat smooth.
  • Add lemon juice. In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form.
  • In medium mixing bowl, gently fold egg whites and whipped topping into blended fruit. Spoon lightly into metal bowl or baking pan. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
  • Spoon into dessert glasses to serve.
