Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Sourdough Starter
  • 1 tablespoons vegetable Oil
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl combine flour, milk, and starter. Let stand for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat griddle to 450°F.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients (batter will be slightly lumpy). Pour about 1/4 cup batter onto lightly greased electric griddle (or hot fry pan). Cook until bottoms are golden brown and bubbles are breaking on the surface. Turn and cook other side.
  • Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
