Honey Spice Bread
The wonderful aroma of this bread will make your mouth water even before you have cut one slice. Your flavor buds won't be disappointed - it's absolutely delicious.

This recipe makes 1 loaf
Medium Loaf

  • ⅓ cup Milk
  • 3 TBSP Water
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 3 TBSP Oil
  • 1 Egg, large
  • 3 cups Bread Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Coriander
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp Cloves
  • 2+1/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast

Large Loaf

  • ½ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Water
  • ⅓ cup Honey
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 1 Egg, large
  • 4 cups Bread Flour
  • 1+1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 TBSP Coriander
  • ¾ tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Cloves
  • 1 TBSP Active Dry Yeast
Bread Machine Method

  1. Place room temperature ingredients in pan in the order listed. Select a Basic cycle and Light crust. Do not use the delay timer. See our Bread Machine section for more helpful tips and information.

  2. You can substitute Instant (fast-rising) yeast for Active Dry Yeast. Traditional methods- replace 1:1. Expect your dough to rise faster; always let your dough rise until ‘ripe’. Bread Machines- use ½ tsp Instant yeast (or ¾ tsp Active Dry yeast) per cup of flour in your recipe. Visit our Lessons in Yeast & Baking for more information.
