Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups water (room temperature)
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups white rice flour
  • 1 cup brown rice flour
  • 1/4 cup dry milk powder
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons xanthan gum
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 (0.25oz) package (7g) or 2 1/4 teaspoons Red Star Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced onion (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons celery seeds (optional)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dill weed (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups (6oz) sharp cheddar cheese (grated)

Instructions

  • Have all ingredients at room temperature. Add wet ingredients to mixing bowl, whisk to combine; pour into baking pan. Add dry ingredients to a separate mixing bowl; whisk to combine; add to baking pan on top of the wet ingredients.
  • Select gluten free cycle; start machine. After the mixing action begins, help any unmixed ingredients into the dough with a rubber spatula, keeping to edges and top of batter to prevent interference with the kneading blade.
  • When the cycle is complete, remove the pan from the machine. Allow the bread to remain in the pan for approximately 10 minutes, then invert pan and shake gently to remove the bread. Cool upright on a rack before slicing.

Do you recommend removing the bread machine paddle after the kneadiing cycle is finished, or leaving the paddle in throughout the cycle?

Red Star Yeast | Reply

Hi Nancy,

I never have taken them out but I think you could. I would just watch your machine after the
proof sometimes those paddles are used during that time to move the dough.

Happy Baking!
