In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger and garlic powder; gradually add water, stirring until smooth. Add Vintage Fruit Syrup, vinegar and soy sauce. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add drained Vintage Fruit; remove from heat. Place ribs in shallow baking dish; top with onion slices. Spoon sauce over ribs. Bake uncovered until tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Serve over rice.
