Homemade Pizza Sauce

There's nothing like the taste of homemade pizza sauce. With just 5 simple ingredients, you'll never want to go back to the canned version! Watch the video to see how easy it is to make!
Homemade Pizza Sauce
Yield 28 ounces of pizza sauce


  • 1 can (28oz) whole, peeled tomatoes (Mutti Pomodori preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 basil leaf (hand torn)
  • 1 small garlic clove (finely chopped)

  • Add all ingredients into large bowl. Hand crush the tomatoes. To avoid spatter, crush tomatoes below the level of puree. Refrigerate at least 4 hours prior to use. Use within 2 days or freeze for later.
