Bread Machine Honey Spice Bread
The wonderful aroma of this bread will make your mouth water even before you have cut one slice. Your flavor buds won't be disappointed - it's absolutely delicious.
Medium (1 1/2 pounds) Loaf
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoons ground cloves
- 1 (0.25oz) package (7g) or 2 1/4 teaspoons Red Star Active Dry Yeast
Large (2 pounds) Loaf
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon coriander
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon Red Star Active Dry Yeast
Have liquids at 80°F and all other ingredients at room temperature.
Add ingredients in order recommended by bread machine manufacturer. Select Basic Cycle and Light Crust. Do not use the delay timer. Check dough consistency after 5 minutes of kneading. The dough should be in a soft, tacky ball. If it is dry and stiff, add water, 1/2 to 1 tablespoon at a time. If it is too wet and sticky, add 1 tablespoon of flour at a time.
When cycle is complete, carefully remove bread from pan; let cool on wire rack.
