Gluten Free Everyday Sandwich Bread
Gluten-free and dairy-free homemade yeast bread recipe. Slice thick, and add your favorite fillings for the perfect sandwich.
- 1 1/2 cup water (110-115°F)
- 1 (0.25oz) package (7g) or 2 1/4 teaspoons Red Star Active Dry Yeast
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup white bean flour
- 1 cup brown rice flour
- 1/2 cup tapioca flour
- 1/4 cup soy flour
- 3/4 cup potato starch
- 1 tablespoon xanthan gum
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
In stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, add warm water and yeast; stir and let sit 10 minutes. Add eggs, oil and honey; blend on low speed for 30 seconds.
In a medium bowl, add all flours, potato starch, xanthan gum and salt; whisk to combine. With the mixer on low speed, gradually add flour mixture to liquid mixture until all dry ingredients are well blended. Beat on medium speed about 5 minutes.
Spoon batter into one 9x5-inch greased bread pan or two 8x4-inch greased bread pans; allow to rise approximately 1 hour. Bake at 350ºF for 45 to 50 minutes; use a toothpick to test for doneness.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
