Vintage Salad Ring
A creamy, cool salad features Vintage Fruit Sauce and sour cream with lemon gelatin in a pretty ribbon mold.

This recipe makes 6 to 8 servings
  • 2 packages (3 oz.) Lemon-flavored gelatin
  • 2 cups Boiling water
  • ½ cup Cold water
  • 1+1/2 cups Vintage Fruit Sauce
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  1. In large mixing bowl, add boiling water to gelatin; stir to dissolve. Add cold water. Remove 1 cup of gelatin mixture; add ½ cup Vintage Fruit Sauce, and pour into oiled 6-cup ring mold. To remaining gelatin, add sour cream; mix thoroughly. Chill both mixtures: clear gelatin in mold until firm, and creamy mixture until thickened. Add 1 cup Vintage Fruit Sauce to creamy mixture. Pour over layer in mold and chill until firm.
