Vintage Stuffed Squash
Attractive fruit-filled acorn squash will add the right touch to your next pork meal.

This recipe makes 4 servings
  • 2 Acorn squash, medium
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ cup Butter or margarine
  • 1 cup Vintage Fruit Sauce
  • ½ cup Walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ tsp Ground ginger
  1. Cut squash in half crosswise; remove seeds. Place cut-side down on shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Turn over, cut side up; sprinkle with salt. Place a tablespoon of butter in each half. In small mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients; spoon into squash halves. Continue to bake until tender, about 25 minutes.
